Build A Team That Supports Your Business Growth

We know you may say "Blah, blah, blah" to this “Build A Team” business, but we assure you, you will need all of these people at some point on your journey. Make sure you choose people who know you and your business well before you actually “need” them. If you wait, you it may be costly.

  1. Attorney

  2. Bookkeeper

  3. CPA

  4. Coach

  5. Insurance

  6. Financial Planner

  1. Attorney – Every business needs protection, especially those businesses that have a higher risk of being sued. Don’t think you won’t be one of those businesses that gets into trouble? We are all human and life happens. We never intend to get into trouble, it simply happens. Make sure you have an attorney who can set you up for success, let you know what is a threat and when you should worry.

  1. Bookkeeper – a good bookkeeper stays on top of your business finances, so that you don’t have to. Having your financial house in order, allows you to make strong business decisions, accurate estimated tax payments and will help you to avoid any cash flow issues that may arise.

  1. CPA – In some cases, your bookkeeper and your CPA are the same person. This is nice when you can keep it all under one roof, but also may be more expensive than if you separate the duties. A good CPA is key in helping you pay the least amount of taxes, educating along the way and keeping you out of jail!

  1. Coach – Often times, we need some help taking our business to the next level. Coaches make you do homework, but with that work comes clarity and taking the next steps easier. It is always wise to have a plan to work ON your business, not just In it.

  2. Insurance – Insurance is often included with the brokers and/or different associations we are involved with and therefore we don’t really think much more about it. The truth is, this insurance is most likely not the best fit for your business. How could one policy be the best for all? Make sure you are covered before you find out differently.

  1. Financial Planners – In our opinion, unless you are a financial planner, you need one! Yes, they cost you money but all of the above team members cost you money. The better question is: how much more can they make you over time? Financial Planners help set annual goals and keep you on track for your lifetime goals. A great financial planner can help with more than just your annual return.
